Villaneuva de Tapia
Is 4 kilometres away and has a bank, bars, post office and market. There is a food festival in October when the locals dress in costume and have horse races.
Bars & Resturants
On the road at the bottom of the hill there are two bars with restaurant (1km) and a small shop for essentials at a petrol station.
How to get there
The nearest airports are Malaga and Grenada. Both are less than an hour by car. There is no public transport so a car is essential. Arriving by car we provide directions from Malaga, Cordoba, Grenada and Seville.

Some ideas for visits
Cordoba – the Mezquita is a must but there is a lot else to see and possibly a flamenco evening photo cordoba evening
Granada – The Alhambra of course, but don’t miss the Royal Chapel – good shopping too
Seville – a bit far for a day trip but there is a train from Antequera – Santa Ana station
Malaga – Cathedral, Picasso Museum, concerts and good shopping
Antequera – Malaga province’s second town is full of sightseeing opportunities including Dolmens

Priego de Cordoba – Baroque town
Zuheros – a white town with the best situated restaurant we have found and lovely walks
Osuna – a cathedral with a not to be missed renaissance private chapel, a fascinating convent, and wonderful architecture – some Spanish helpful as the guides don’t speak English
Archidona – a small museum, an 18th c octagon housing a good restaurant and a fine hermitage
Rute – an anis museum, a donkey sanctuary and in November / December a fantastic Bethlehem scene made out of chocolate
