We loved the salt water pool nestled in the hills

This traditional stone house looks out over the hills and is perched amongst olive groves. The thick stone walls, shady courtyard and terraces make for a tranquil and cool hideaway from the midday sun. Eating dinner on the terrace under the vine was charming, with the handy “pool kitchen” nearby being very practical. The salt water pool was a particular treat and safely fenced off to suit those with children. We stayed in the little “apartment” off the courtyard and enjoyed the extra space of a separate living room and private bathroom from our friends in the main house. The aircon was extremely effective, though the traditional design off the house meant that we rarely needed it.

A lovely, lazy, 4 weeks

We have enjoyed a lovely, lazy, 4 weeks in Casa del Pino. The pool, fresh grapes and figs, walks, pottering, reading, trips to Ronda, Cordoba, Priego de Cordoba, Granada, Alicante, Rute and Iznajar. Our second holiday here and again truly memorable. The house is comfortable, well equipped and beautifully situated with a stupendous view. Tranquil; a true holiday haven.

A lovely house in a quiet location.

We came with 4 adults and 4 children aged 10-12-13-17 years.
A beautiful house that was exactly as seen on the pictures. Everything you need is provided. The pool is nicely kept making it pretty clean. You come here to relax.
The house has information with tips on where to pick up groceries and what to do in the area. We have just slept in, but the house was fully equipped. You really need a car.
Contact with the owner went very well The manager of the home is also very friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend this house.

Fabulous break away from crowds, beautiful setting

We stayed here with a group of friends and all our kids, and we had a fantastic time. The views are sensational across olive groves and this has a nice classic Spanish farmhouse feel, away from it all. It was perfectly set up for kids – the owners arranged pack ‘n’ plays and high chairs – and a fantastically well equipped kitchen making food prep easy. We grilled most meals in the beautiful enclosed courtyard. The pool was a great hit with everyone and it was really nice that it was enclosed so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The kids had great fun picking grapes and figs from the grounds and the table tennis table was a definite hit! All in all we had a fantastic week catching up with friends and we would definitely come back.

Thank you for a truly wonderful relaxing week.

We have spent 2 holidays in this house, both in September. The weather each time has been warm and we have been able to spend the entire day out of doors, eating in the courtyard or swimming or lounging by the pool. The indoor areas are spacious and comfortable with good stocks of books and games and a bridge table. Bedrooms are a good size with comfortable beds and a good supply of bed linen.There is abundant hot water. There are outstanding views and some fabulous walks.

Having 2 TV’s was a bonus – the guys watching the FA cup final downstairs while the gals watched a good movie upstairs.
Great selection of DVDs and books, the pool area is fantastic.
